A land worth knowing
Do you like hiking? Or rather cycling? Are you an adventurer? Or probably you enjoy a peaceful walk around town surrounded by culture. Either way, in Casa Lucía there are activities for all of you.
Casa Lucía is really close to nature. You will find mountains, rivers and three Natural Reserves nearby with loads of adventure options: many walking and biking trails and diverse water activities.
There are as well, a vast number of curved roads with very low traffic that are perfect for bikers and cyclists.
As the fall comes, yellow, red and brown colors spread along the vineyards and call you out to walk through them. Wine making is the main activity in our district and a great opportunity for tourism: wine tastings, guided tours in wineries, FEREVIN, harvesting festivities, the Wine Museum in Requena, the Round Winery (Utiel) and the underground, family wineries in the old town.
History has left a deep footstep in the district: interesting Iberian settlements, muslin monuments and buildings and Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque elements, all of which you can enjoy walking around the old town. Afterwards, you can dig into our delicious gastronomy.
We can guide you through all the opportunities that Requena offers. We love our land and have got to know it like the back of our hands.
